On November 11, 2003, I was diagnosed with breast cancer.  Many women facing a similar situation ask "Why me?" But, throughout this experience, I kept asking  "Why...Why did this happen---and more specifically---HOW did this happen?  I am an active, healthy female, who works out in the gym three times a week. I have a tall, slender physique, eat lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, sleep eight hours most nights and am virtually never sick. I have no breast cancer in my family history, so-o-o, HOW did I get cancer?

That question has been baffling me since the day I was diagnosed and I have been on a continual search for an answer.  I now believe that I have come to some interesting conclusions---and the answer relates to the foods we eat and the environment in which we live.  Throughout this website, I will share detailed research concerning those conclusions and offer suggestions about how you can get...and stay healthy.
